As many banking, retail, and hospitality POS applications are implemented using increasingly smaller-size systems, it becomes more difficult to integrate the multiple serial ports necessary to accommodate the large number of peripherals required for these systems. This low profile PCI serial board solves this problem.
Low profile PCI boards are mechanically similar to standard PCI boards, but use a shorter board and a different mounting bracket. This product leverages the standard to provide two additional serial ports on a single board. These low profile PCI boards adhere strictly to standard specifications, so you can be sure that every board will install smoothly and consistently, and function properly in your system.
