What will change?

Operating System

Moxa Industrial Linux 3 (Debian 11) Upgrade from v3.2 to v3.3:

Enhancement

• Includes the latest security patches.
• MCM Tool:
  ✔   Supports IPv6 address on LAN1 when the Type changes from "managed" to "none" in Moxa Connection Manager (MCM).
  ✔   Supports configuring the GPS antenna type (active/passive, default: passive) with MCM.
• Supports a serial port to connect to UPort "-G2" Series devices.
• Supports alias name "mg" for "mx-guardian" command.
• MSM Tool:
  ✔   Supports compression function with Moxa System Manager (MSM) to reduce backup file size.

Bug Fixes

• LAN1 sometimes fails to obtain IPv4 and IPv6 addresses when Type is set to "none" in Moxa Connection Manager (MCM).
• Cellular data usage is displayed as zero in MCM.

Changes

• The "set to default" option will only reset the configuration file and does not restart MCM

Note:

1. Product revision is the rev. number printed on the sticker of a Moxa Arm-based computer
2. The MIL version can be queried using the command mx-ver -M.
3. The image version can be queried using the command mx-ver -v.

When will the new versions be available?

The updated version of the UC-4400A Series will be available for order starting in April. Orders placed on or after this date will automatically include the new enhancements.
