The AMAX-4833 is an industrial EtherCAT slave module equipped with the EtherCAT protocol. Its compact size and DIN-rail mount kit can install easily in a cabinet. Euro type pluggable terminal blocks and LED indicator help users to maintain and set up their system. All digital input channels are protected by 2,500 V DC isolation.

Easy to Maintain
Terminal block, LED indicator, Switch and EtherCAT port can be operated at front side. These provide a convenient way to wire, test, debug or maintain. In particular, AMAX-4800 series equip euro type pluggable terminal block to insert wires without screw tools. These features can help user to reduce maintenance cost and time.
Good expandability
Since a total of 65,535 nodes per network segment can be connected, the I/O channel amount will not be limited by PCI/PCIE slot any more. The physics of Ethernet allow a cable length of up to 100 m (300 ft) between two nodes, so expensive signal cable will be replaced. This means less IPC, simpler wiring topology and lower cost.
Synchronization
The synchronization time between each slave module is one of important parameter for motion control. AMAX-4800 series support EtherCAT distributed Clock. By using distributed clocks , modules can calibrate the time difference less than 1 us to output synchronize signal.
