The MOXA C320Turbo Series of multiport serial boards provides expandable and flexible COM/TTY solutions for 8- to 128-port RS-232 applications. The C320 Turbo’s on-board CPU and dual port large memory take the load off host systems whose performance and scalability are critical for large-scale systems.
Specially designed for flexibility, the MOXA C320Turbo Series is an ideal multiport serial controller for PCs. Depending on business size and growth, users can begin with a small-range system with 8 ports and expand up to 128 ports. Even more flexibility is added by allowing any combination of the different options for control boards (PCI or ISA), connection modules (rackmount or desktop), and COM port interface (RS-232 or RS-422) within one system. Furthermore, due to the high speed I/O trunk design between the MOXA C320Turbo Series control board and connection module, the connection module can be located up to 100 meters away. Only one cable is needed, ensuring that one PC can control multiple remote serial devices with the least cost on cabling layout.
The MOXA C320 Turbo Series’ state-of-the-art onboard CPU dramatically reduces the host computer’s loading - up to 68% - for apllications that use 32 ports per board.
