The MOXA C168H/PCI Series of multiport serial boards is designed for people looking for an easy-to-use 8-port serial board. Simply plug the MOXA C168H/PCI board into the appropriate PCI slot, and all configuration tasks will be done automatically. There is no need to adjust I/O addresses and IRQ hardware switches and jumpers.
Each port of the MOXA C168H/PCI board can be configured to any IRQ and any address, which eliminates the problem of resource conflicts. Additionally, surge protection (25 KV) and optical isolation (500V) are available as options on this multiport serial board to improve reliability.
The MOXA C168H/PCI Series board allows the installation of additional RS-232 serial communication ports on a PC by providing 8 serial ports per board for connecting all types of serial devices, including printers, modems, data acquistion equipment, terminals, and more. With its versatile OS driver support, the MOXA C168H/PCI is suitable for a variety of applications. It uses the PCI bus, and provides a reliable high performance solution for serial multiport communications.
